Y100011 Yukon Spin Free® Front Locking Hub Conversion Kit for 2000-2008 Dodge Ram 2500, Ram 3500 Single Rear Wheel 4x4s fits 2000-2002 Dodge Dana 60 and 2003-2008 AAM 9-1/4" front axles in Single Rear Wheel (SRW) Ram 4x4s. The Yukon worry free, Spin Free® Kit replaces the vulnerable and expensive factory unit bearings with tapered bearings and races. The result is not only a design which is easier and more economical to service, but one that offers significant increases in mileage per gallon. This hub kit also includes low-profile Yukon Hardcore premium locking hubs, giving you more driving selectability. This kit includes new ABS compatible wheel hubs, spindles, high strength Yukon 4340 Chrome-Moly outer axles, low-profile Yukon Hardcore premium locking hubs, Timken or Koyo bearings, high quality seals and all hardware for installation. Tech Note 5: To Install 
To install Y100011 Kit, you need to remove the original hubs and axle shafts. Depending upon age, mileage, and use, your truck may also need inner axle shaft oil seals, ball joints, brake parts, or pinion seal. Inspect the axle before disassembly for worn or damaged parts and order those extra parts/tools you desire for a first class job.
Tech Note 6: Ball Joints

Tech Note 7: U-Joint Options 
Y100011 Yukon Spin Free® Kit fits 2000-2002 Dana 60 AND 2003-2008 AAM 9.25" 4x4 front axles. The two axles take different axle u-joints. The new outer axle shafts that come with these kits fit universal joints made to Spicer 1480WJ dimensions. For 2003-2008 trucks, Yukon supplies shims to allow the use of AAM size joints in the new outer axle shaft. Personally, I dislike that option, so we have devolped some exclusive alternatives. 
Your U-Joint Options are:
2000-2002: 
A) Reuse your original u-joints which will fit the new axle shafts without modification. 
B) use optional, QU30332, TK40715, or TK40724 1480WJ axle universal joints.
2003-2008:
C) Use the supplied shims, and either reuse your original axle u-joints or order optional 1485 series QU40765, TK40444, or TK40446 axle u-joints.
D) Order Torque King® TKA4946 Spicer 1480WJ to AAM 1485WJ Conversion U-Joints
E) Order optional TK11310 Right and TK11311 Left USA Made Performance 4140 Thru-Hardened Inner Axle Shafts AND your choice of QU30332, TK40715, TK40724, TK42117 1480WJ u-joints.
